2017 has been a great year for Nature’s Calendar with the launch of our new website in July. We would like to wish all our recorders a Happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year and thank you for all your hard work over the last year. Your records help create a picture of the effects of climate change on our native species.

So far this year we have had 45723 records from 2479 people, there is still time to get your final records in before the New Year. Even if you don’t have time during this busy Christmas period don’t worry the new website allows back dating so add your records in the new year.

Volunteer of the year awards

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our recorders and share the fantastic news that all your hard work was recently recognised at the Woodland Trusts Volunteer of the year awards. Nature’s Calendar won the Hawthorn Award – this celebrates a national network of volunteers that have made a significant contribution to the work of the Woodland Trust. Well done everyone!

Once again have a wonderful Christmas and we look forward to receiving all your sightings in 2018
